Iraq...
So after the deaths of 179 Soldiers and racking up costs of over 8 Billion pounds, which the humble British tax payer will have to meet, our esteemed government has finally pulled the British Armed Forces out of Iraq. What was it all for? Many British people didn't want this war and certainly most Iraqi's didn't want it either. According to current TV news broadcasts and newspapers, this Bush/Blair war (in my view an illegal war) has been a complete waste of time, a waste of money and most importantly of all, a waste of human life. TV screens are now showing the pull out of Iraq along with older footage of flag drapped coffins being taken back to the UK for burial. Perhaps Mr T Blair should have been made to attend every funeral, as he was directly responsible (it was his decision to go to war) for this loss of life. Mr T Blair should also have offered to make financial retributions to all of the families who have lost loved ones because of his desire to become a modern day icon of World politics. This money, of course, should come from his own pocket, which is quite full I believe.
