The Gurkhas...

The Gurkha issue rumbles on... I can't believe the Labour Government stance on this issue. The Minister responsible for the introduction of the latest, divisive and highly offensive guidelines that declare who can and who cannot stay in the UK must either be a fool or he is being advised by a posse of fools. Despite the court ruling that the treatment of Gurkhas is unfair this government blatantly continues to discriminate against the Gurkhas by using the excuse that the immigration services would be overwhelmed (this is just one of the excuses). This against the backdrop of the government's continued failure to protect UK citizens from religious extremists, terrorists and would be terrorists, makes me feel quite unsafe.
